Learn how to manage, customize, and control your Buy Bot settings. From changing images to setting minimum amounts, this guide covers all management features.


Accessing Bot Settings

  1. Open private chat with @MobotsBuyBot
  2. Send /start to see the main menu
  3. Click "πŸ€– My Buy Bots"
  4. Select the group you want to manage

You'll see the bot management dashboard with all available options.

How to Change Token/Pool

  1. Click "πŸ”„ Change Token/Pool"
  2. Enter the new token contract address
  3. Bot searches for all available pools
  4. Select pools to monitor:
    • Click "🌐 Monitor All Pools" OR
    • Select individual pool buttons
  5. βœ… Old monitors stop, new ones start immediately

Important Notes

⚠️ Changing the token replaces your current monitoring setup. The bot will stop monitoring the old token and start monitoring the new one.

Upload custom images to make notifications look professional and on-brand.

Image Requirements

  • Format: PNG or JPG
  • Recommended size: 1000x1000 pixels (1:1 ratio)
  • Maximum file size: 5MB
  • Best practice: Square images display best

How to Upload Image

Option A: Direct Upload

  1. Click "πŸ–ΌοΈ Change Image"
  2. Upload image file directly to Telegram chat
  3. βœ… Image updates immediately

Option B: Image URL

  1. Click "πŸ–ΌοΈ Change Image"
  2. Send an image URL (must start with http:// or https://)
  3. βœ… Bot fetches and uses the image

Image Best Practices

  • Only buys equal to or above the minimum amount will trigger notifications
  • Amount is in token quantity (not MON value)
  • Filters apply immediately after setting
  • Set to 0 or 1 to show all buys

Finding the Right Minimum

How to Add Social Links

  1. Click "πŸ”— Social Links"
  2. You'll see current status (βœ… configured / ❌ not set)
  3. Click the platform you want to add:

    • πŸ“± Set Telegram
    • 🐦 Set Twitter
    • 🌐 Set Website
  4. Send the link in proper format
  5. βœ… Links appear in notifications immediately

Managing Social Links

To Update a Link:

  1. Click the platform button again
  2. Send the new link
  3. Old link is replaced

To Remove a Link:

  1. Click the platform button
  2. Send clear
  3. Link is removed from notifications

Temporarily pause or resume notifications without deleting the bot or losing settings.

When to Use

  • ⏸️ Temporary trading pause

How to Toggle Status

To Deactivate:

  1. Click "πŸ”΄ Deactivate"
  2. Bot stops sending notifications immediately
  3. All settings are preserved

To Reactivate:

  1. Click "🟒 Activate"
  2. Notifications resume immediately
  3. Continues from where it left off

Status Indicators

  • Active 🟒 - Bot is monitoring and sending notifications
  • Inactive πŸ”΄ - Bot is paused, no notifications sent

⚠️ Note: Deactivating the bot does not delete your settings. Your token address, pools, image, social links, and minimum amount are all preserved.


❌ Delete Bot

Permanently remove the bot from your group and delete all settings.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete a bot, the following is permanently removed:

  • ❌ Token monitoring configuration
  • ❌ Pool selections
  • ❌ Custom notification image
  • ❌ Social links
  • ❌ Minimum amount setting
  • ❌ All bot data for this group

How to Delete

  1. Click "❌ Delete Bot"
  2. Confirm deletion when prompted
  3. Bot stops monitoring immediately
  4. All data is deleted
  5. You can create a new bot anytime

⚠️ Warning: This Cannot Be Undone

Deletion is permanent. If you want to pause temporarily, use "πŸ”΄ Deactivate" instead.

When to Delete

  • βœ… Moving to a new Telegram group
  • βœ… Sunsetting the project
  • βœ… Reached bot limit and need space
  • βœ… No longer need buy tracking

Multi-Bot Management

Bot Limits

Free tier users can create up to 2 bots:

  • βœ… One bot per Telegram group
  • βœ… Different tokens for different groups
  • βœ… Independent settings for each bot
  • βœ… Manage all from one interface

Managing Multiple Bots

  1. Go to "πŸ€– My Buy Bots"
  2. You'll see all your bots listed
  3. Click any group to manage that specific bot
  4. Each bot has independent settings

Example Usage:

  • Bot 1: Main token in community group
  • Bot 2: Secondary token in trading group

Bot Limit Display

The bot list shows your current usage:

You have 2/2 bots

When at maximum capacity, you must delete a bot to create a new one.


Creator-Only Management

Only the person who created the bot can:

  • βœ… Delete the bot
  • βœ… Modify social links
  • βœ… Set minimum amounts

Other group admins cannot modify bot settings. This prevents unauthorized changes and ensures control stays with the creator.
